January hike in Santa Barbara

Last weekend I went on an amazing hike in SB with Kathy, Monika, Molly, Leonie, Susan, Bert, and Elle called Inspiration Point and Seven Falls. Although the Seven Falls were mostly dried up Inspiration Point was amazing! We beat the 2.5 hour expected time for the 4.7 mile hike (not counting the Bud Light break at the top). Elle was helping to pull me, so I credit her for getting me up so quick! If I only had her energy! After the hike, we were all looking our sweaty best (did I mention it was 77 degrees and a very steep hike) and showed up at Long Boards at the end of the SB pier, where we proceeded to finish our very yummy (22 oz) Bud Lights. Some of us ..uh humm.. had more then one. It was an amazing day and great way to get some fresh air and exercise outside. It is one of my favorite hikes, but Kathy has promised to introduce me to more in this area. Can't wait for the next one!!
